Yesterday was Primary Election day and late last night we were shown our results. The Jasper County Democrats only had two contested seats. Justice of the Peace, Precincts 1 and 2. In precinct 1, Ebony Owens-Scott came out ahead of Amy Williams. In precinct 2, LV Rasberry prevailed over Marcus Barber. We love and appreciate all of our candidates, and thank them for a wonderful and exciting Primary season! We can’t wait to see what the rest of Election season brings, and we look forward to working together to set records and reach goals in Jasper County. Read on for full results.

 

For County Clerk, Ronzie Scranton-Lewis totaled 681 votes.

For County Treasurer, LaNessa Land totaled 715 votes.

For County Commissioner Pct 2, DeMarcus J Holmes totaled 266 votes.

For Justice of the Peace Pct 1, Amy Williams totaled 95 votes.

For Justice of the Peace Pct 1, Ebony Owens-Scott totaled 157 votes.

For Justice of the Peace Pct 2, LV Rasberry totaled 245 votes.

For Justice of the Peace Pct 2, Marcus Barber totaled 67 votes.

For County Chaiman, Robert Webb totaled 592 votes.
